On an average, we need to drink 2 and half liter of water on daily basis. We might drink freely tea,coffee,juice, soft drink instead of water  and think that it may get us same level of hydration like water. Nevertheless, study says ‘no’. In fact, these work as opposite.

We can develop numerous symptoms if we ignore drinking sufficient water. We can encounter dry mouth and muscles cramps. We can feel fatigued –our short-term memory can become unclear. We can lose concentration and can face a great trouble to focus. In addition, we can develop headaches,insomnia,anger ,depression and many more. Prolong dehydration causes our brain cells downsizing and develop mass. Lack of water enhances brain dysfunction.

Every function in the body is dependent on water, including the activities of brain and nervous system. Water gives the brain electrical energy to conduct every activity.

According to Dr.Corinne Allen, founder of the Advanced Learning and Development institution, brain cells (neurons)need two times more energy than other cells in the body. Water provides this energy more effectively than any other substance.

We will be able to think faster, be more focused and more creative if our brain gets full reserve of water.

Dehydration causes your brain shut down and prevent working to the fullest.In fact, a dry brain is less efficient brain.

Water help deliver nutrients to the brain and removes toxins.

However, our brain cannot store water, it just uses it. Which is why we are in need of refilling water at regular intervals. Dehydration can have negative impact in anywhere at any time if we are not watchful about water availability in our body.

Not wait until you are thirsty. You are already dehydrated if you feel thirsty.

If you are teacher, allow your students to drink water during learning time.Research shows that dehydration causes higher salt levels in the blood which in turn raises blood pressure and stress.proper hydration enable your students to think better and help remove attention disorder.

Give your students an insight that if they want their brain to work well—if they want their brain receives and sends signals to the rest of their body—if they want better math computations—if they want to nurture a intelligent mind,they must make sure their brain receives the water it needs.

Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning—drink before and during meal-replace others drink with water-drink before going to bed—just drink and drink at regular intervals.
